1. Who can participate?
Children aged >09 Years to <18 years as of the submission deadline are eligible.
2. How many stories can I submit?
Only one story per participant is allowed.
3. Who must submit the story?
Stories must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian, or with their verified consent
4. What kind of stories can I submit?
Original, unpublished stories written in English.
Genre: Fiction, fantasy, mystery, slice of life, etc.
Not allowed: Horror, explicit, or violent content.
Word limit: 1500 to 1700 words.
5. What should the file look like?
Submit your story as a .doc, .docx, or PDF file.
Make sure to include:
Child’s full name
Child's picture
Age
School and city
A short author bio (max 150 words)
6. What is the process for submitting entries?
Post registration, all participants shall be added to an exclusive Whatsapp community
A consent form is to be downloaded from here, which parent/legal guardian would have to print, fill and sign and share it back with DA Mentors team.

7. Will there be any editing or formatting services be provided for submitted work
Yes. A team of professional shall review and proof read each submitted entry carefully.
The shortlisted entries shall be further formatted and/or edited to align with the strict guidelines of publishing platforms.
8. What is the last date for submission?
The last date for submission of entries is 20th June, 2025.
9. How will the stories be selected?
A panel of reviewers will select the top 30 stories based on creativity, clarity, and originality. Selection decisions are final and cannot be contested.
10. Shall I receive the hardcopy of the published book?
Participants may choose between two registration options: Basic and Premium.
Under the Basic Package, all participants will receive a digital eBook copy of the published anthology, which will be shared with every contributor.
Under the Premium Package, participants whose entries are shortlisted for publication will receive a printed hard copy of the published anthology, which will be couriered to their registered home address.
All the participant shall also receive a digital certificate of participation.
11. Where will the selected stories be published?
Chosen stories will be published as part of a printed and online anthology available via:
Amazon
Flipkart
Another platform for worldwide availability
Each published story will feature the author’s name, picture and short introduction.
12. Will authors be paid or receive royalties?
No. This is a non-commercial anthology.
Authors will receive due credit but no monetary compensation or royalties for this edition.
13. Who owns the rights to the stories?
Authors retain the full rights to their stories.
By submitting, you grant the organizers non-exclusive rights to publish your story in this anthology and for any future purposes for marketing and promotion.
14. How will we receive updates?
All communication will be made through the WhatsApp number or email provided at the time of registration.
